The Brü Revü – Mission Street India Pale Ale

We just returned from our trip to San Diego and the Mission Street India Pale Ale was my first West Coast IPA of the trip.  My wonderful wife grabbed it for me on a quick trip to Trader Joe’s and at $5.99 a six pack it was hard to pass up.  The beer had all the classic IPA notes with piney citrusy hop aromas and a good hoppy bitterness with a malty background keeping it well balanced.  All in all, a very drinkable beer at a great price, and I had several while our gracious host grilled us a delicious Tri Tip (a West Coast brisket).   Check out the photo with my buddy’s orange beach mobile in the background.  I called it the Orange Crush, but he prefers Agent Orange….   ahhh I miss the weather already.
