The Brü Revü – Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot (WTF) Ale

The Wilco Tango Foxtrot Ale from Lagunitas says it’s a Brown Ale, but in pure Lagunitas style they ratchet up the hops to a level that thoroughly blurs that line. It poured a copper brown with a malty sweetness on the aroma with a hint of  hops.  The taste was like a mixture of a brown ale and an IPA.  There was the sweet nuttiness of the malt balanced by the signature Lagunitas hop bitterness that created another great brew.  The body was full and helped weigh down the hoppy profile while maintaining its high drinkability.  The WTF was another fine beer from Lagunitas!
