The Brü Revü – Karbach Barn Burner Saison

The Barn Burner Saison is Karbach’s spring seasonal and is now appearing in a sharply designed can.  As you can tell I try to grab as many Karbach brews as I can on my frequent forays to Houston, and I was fortunate to be able to get some of this sensational seasonal.  The Barn Burner poured a golden orange with a very effervescent and large white head.  The aroma emitted coriander and spices with hints of citrus peel and grains.  The brew had a thick and creamy mouthfeel that delivered coriander and clove spiciness with slight banana yeast notes.  It was very refreshing and hit similar notes as their Weisse Versa but with more spice and citrus peel flavors.  Karbach continues to produce great beer and make Houston proud.
